Cocoa prices surged to an all-time high yesterday, as suppliers deal with the worst shortage in decades. Bad weather and poor crops in West Africa have greatly limited supply. Cocoa futures peaked at over $10,000 per ton during trade yesterday, an all-time high. Cocoa prices are overall up nearly 130% this year.
