- last month
A bear who chewed the metal bars of his enclosure due to boredom underwent "life-changing" dental surgery.
The footage shows Norman the rescued bear being prepared for the surgery.
Norman had been chewing the bars of his tiny prison in Urtsadzor, Armenia due to a lack of mental stimulation, slowly damaging his teeth and causing him a lot of pain.
The International Animal Rescue are now raising money for another bear, named Misha, to have the same surgery as Norman.
Their aim is to raise the $25,000 needed to cover the costs of the surgery and his ongoing rehabilitation.
