Formed in Chicago in 1968 Wilderness Road was a group which combined hard rock, bluegrass, country and western, rural rock, some old-time religious lyrics and music, and improvisation theater with chaotic but thrilling results. The debut album is something like a compcet cowboy comic book, telling the story of a guy who killed a man because "he had the right".
