Maritime Zones Bill defines PH boundaries

Dr. Jay Batongbacal, University of the Philippines College of Law executive associate dean, and Ret. Gen. Andres Centino, presidential adviser for maritime concerns, in a forum on the Maritime Zones Bill on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, said that the measure would define the country's archipelagic zones in light of increasing tension in the West Philippine Sea (WPS). The bill, which has been passed by Congress, is awaiting President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s signature.
