00:00 Hello, my name is Amber Allitt and I'm a National World's Environment and Sustainability Specialist.

00:04 So if you've got a bit of a sweet tooth like I do, we're coming up on one of the very best times of the year.

00:09 And I thought as a part of my vegan food review series that I would review a completely vegan Easter egg.

00:15 I picked up this really cute cookie dough flavoured egg and bunny set.

00:20 It's part of the No Mo Easter Egg range, which is a UK-based company.

00:26 And as you can see from the name it stands for No Missing Out.

00:30 This means as well as being completely vegan and therefore dairy and egg free,

00:34 it's also produced in a factory which is nut and gluten free as well, making it allergy friendly.

00:40 So as you can see the wee bunny looks really really cute and looks great from the packaging and I can't wait to give it a go.

00:48 Alright, so the packaging looks really cute. I'm quite curious to see how the um,

00:53 the bunny and the egg sort of package together in there.

00:57 I remember from a lot of Easter eggs I got when I was a child that there's sometimes something in the middle,

01:02 but I think in this case they are for us to separate.

01:06 Yeah.

01:09 So we'll give the wee bunny a go first.

01:12 See what it's like.

01:15 These are cookie dough flavoured, but again, they are completely vegan. These are really cute, really cute little bunny.

01:27 Isn't it?

01:29 Yeah.

01:37 I feel a little bit bad mutilating his ears, but it is really really nice.

01:42 It's sort of um,

01:44 filled with cookie dough.

01:46 It's lovely and sweet.

01:48 Um, it has a little bit of saltiness to it too. So, you know a bit more,

01:51 a bit more depth of flavour as it were.

01:54 Um, I'll put that aside for now. Although, you know, honestly, you could just eat the whole thing

01:59 and see what the egg is like, because

02:02 from the packaging my understanding is that it's got tiny little pieces of cookie dough

02:08 scattered all through it and it looks like it does.

02:12 Never too sure how to break these things open.

02:17 Figured using a um, a butter knife wouldn't be the most child-friendly way to do this.

02:23 So I'm just going to do it with my hands.

02:25 If I can.

02:27 Oh, very strong, very sturdy egg, but I've managed to break it.

02:32 Um, and yeah, as you can see, it's sort of like all these tiny little pieces of cookie dough inside the egg.

02:40 Mmm.

02:45 That's lovely. It's like um, little rice krispies.

02:51 Lovely sort of crispy texture.

02:53 Yeah, that's um,

02:56 like you, you wouldn't know from eating this that it's not actually milk chocolate, that it's completely non-dairy.

03:04 It's so lovely and light, doesn't have any of that sort of dark chocolate bitterness that I know can be a bit

03:10 bit unpalatable to

03:13 to children, um, and to young people, but

03:17 this is just lovely. It's so sweet and light, really interesting texture.

03:21 Very solid and non-flimsy as you can see and um, yeah,

03:26 really, really lovely Easter egg all around.

03:29 I guess just to wrap it up, I would really recommend these wee guys to anyone who's buying Easter eggs for

03:36 maybe a child, another young person in their life,

03:39 who does follow a vegan diet or, you know, maybe has an allergy, a dairy allergy, a nut allergy.

03:46 They're just, they're so cute and you know, feeling like you're missing out can be a really, really hard thing.

03:51 And this would really make you feel a bit more like you're not missing out, you know, that

03:56 you get these cute little Easter treats just like anyone else can have and I just think that's such a lovely thing.
