00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, in less than four weeks' time, Malaysia will be launching a one-of-a-kind

00:11 regional startup conference called KL20.

00:16 It is part of our ambition to catapult Kuala Lumpur as a top 20 startup ecosystem in the

00:23 world and become the gateway to innovation in Southeast Asia.

00:28 KL20 itself is a two-day event scheduled for 22nd and 23rd April and will be held at the

00:38 Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

00:40 It will gather an unprecedented mix of global sovereign wealth funds, leading venture capitalists,

00:48 international startups and incubators.

00:51 With over 1,000 attendees anticipated, KL20 will feature an exciting speaker lineup from

00:58 all corners of the globe.

01:01 For the first time, the Prime Minister Yamagoroma Dato' Sreyanwa Ibrahim will launch an action

01:07 paper, KL20 Action Paper, which outlines over 20+ transformative reforms that we hope will

01:17 jumpstart the ecosystem in Kuala Lumpur in order for us to move up towards the top 20

01:25 ecosystem globally.

01:27 We hope the radical initiatives which we are curating will build the startup pipeline from

01:34 three perspectives.

01:36 From the funders' perspective, investors' perspective, from the founders' perspective

01:42 and also from the talent's perspective.

01:46 We hope that with the launch of KL20 by Yamagoroma Dato' Sreyanwa Ibrahim, it is going to be

01:53 our simple message to the rest of the world, which is Malaysia is open for business in
