Jets airdrop aid over northern Gaza
  • last month
Images filmed from Israel show aid being airdropped over northern Gaza after the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees said that Israel had definitively barred it from making aid deliveries in northern Gaza, where the threat of famine is highest. A UN-backed food security assessment has warned that famine is projected to hit the north of Gaza by May unless there is an urgent intervention. Several countries, including France, the United States and Jordan, have conducted airdrops over the war-torn territory in recent weeks.
