Afghanistan: Schools restart without girls for third year

Afghan schools start the new year, but girls can't join secondary classes for the third year. Taliban stopped girls from secondary school in 2022, after coming back to power in 2021 and enforcing strict Islamic rules called ‘gender apartheid’ by the UN.
