Veloso: No shoo-ins in PH men's volleyball team  No one is a shoo-in for the Philippine men's national team in the FIVB World Championships which the country will host in September 2025. Popular or not, senior or beginner, you need to earn your spot. National team head coach Sergio Veloso made this comment on Wednesday, March 20 2024 in the wake of the FIVB's announcement that the Philippines' won the hosting rights for the World Championships. Veloso talked to the media about this following the game of his Ateneo Blue Eagles and the UST Golden Tigresses in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
