Johnny Depp - 'Dark Shadows' First Look - "Barnabas Collins"

Dark Shadows stars Johnny Depp, Chloe Moretz and Helena Bonham Carter and will release may 11 2012.
This image we see features depp in some intesnse vampire esque make up, but based on fanboy and fangirl responses since the leak of these photos, people are NOT impressed!
Dark Shadows is based on the gothic soap opera of the same name that aired between 1966 and 1971 and in a recent interview with MTV, Deep claimed that the film adaptation wouldn't stray too far from the classic look of the characters from the original series. He said, I think it's going to be somewhere in that arena, with maybe just a couple of different touches here and there,"
Based on the responses from cult fans, this is far from the truth if these set photos are what we should expect from the flick.
Photos snapped of Depp on the U.K. set show a vampire less like the familiar Barnabas than something out of Burton's "Alice in Wonderland." Depp's take, complete with pancake makeup, reddened lips and wacky blue glasses, makes the vampire look decidedly inhuman.
