00:00 We're actually buzzing in the room. It's the last two or three weeks, it just feels like it's been dragging and everyone's just waiting for them games.
00:15 Obviously playing at home, it's going to be pretty much a sellout crowd on Wednesday. We're all buzzing. We know what this means to the club and each of us.
00:25 We've won trophies before, it's what we want to be. We're excited, we're looking forward to it. We know it's going to be a tough test against them.
00:34 They're no pushovers, they've been a good team this year and obviously the last few years they've been good also. We're ready for them.
00:42 You're from the area, quite a few of you in the team are from the area. How much does it matter to you? Does that make it matter more?
00:50 Yeah, I think it does. It's a bit of our own here and obviously the fans are all from here as well. We've got that connection. It's always someone's family or friends.
01:03 We're building it back up together, obviously with Covid and the Pirates going under. We've had to start from scratch. Last year they had a tough year and it was just a building step.
01:16 Now this is the year and next year we're building again. If we can get that first trophy this season with the Cup, who knows what happens in the playoffs.
01:27 I think it will set us up to go on. It reminds me a bit of Leeds. The first year they weren't great and then the next year they brought the players like Kieran and stuff in.
01:38 They built and got sport. That third year they took that massive step and I think we're in that stage now where we're so close.
01:48 Former club, you mentioned it already. Does that make it even more important to you as well? Obviously coming up against quite a few former teammates.
01:59 You want to get one over on them obviously. During the season as a team you've matched up well with them haven't you?
02:04 We have, yeah. We have matched up well against them this year. We've always said in the room we do seem to match up well against the stronger, better teams.
02:13 I don't know if we get up for them games and we take the lower teams in the standings lightly. I don't know what it is.
02:20 We seem to always get up for them, the MKs, the Leeds, the Swindons. We have matched up well against them this year.
02:27 I think we have had their number this year and a cup game is totally different. Who knows what's going to happen but I just fancy us.
