Reissue of the 1969 album "The house of blue lights" released by rhythm and blues and soul artist Don Covay from Orangeburg, South Carolina. Covay was backed by The Jefferson Lemon Blues Band that included former Shirelles guitarist Joe Richardson and folk musician John Hammond. Electric guitar blues influenced by folk and soul, raw voice and a Rolling Stone's feeling that pervades the tracks.
