While remaining dry across central and eastern parts of the UK overnight, a band of rain moves across Northern Ireland into far western parts of the England, Wales and Scotland, bringing heavy rain and strong winds into the morning. The heavy rain and strong winds continue to move eastwards over central and eastern areas into tomorrow afternoon.
