Tree climber's negative-rigging experiment results in negative safety

Jordan's attempt to remove a large pine tree nearly ended in disaster.

After scaling more than half the tree, Jordan cuts off its upper part, only to discover that the remaining portion, to which he is clinging, is absurdly off-balance!

"Jordan, the climber, was negative rigging a large log in order to protect what's below (retaining wall, fence, small bushes, etc...)," the filmer, Michael, told WooGlobe. "He went for a little ride when the log made contact with the stem.

"Everyone involved in this rig is a seasoned professional with proper PPE (personal protective equipment) in place, and all rigging equipment being used was suitable and rated for this scenario."
