Rangers overcome nine-man Hibs to progress in Scottish Cup.

00:00 A gripping day of Scottish Cup action has come to an end here at Easter Road where it
00:07 finished Hebsnill Rangers 2. Rangers joining their old firm counterpart Celtic in the semi-final
00:14 draw tomorrow night. Both Glasgow teams had a tough row. Let's start off at Celtic Park

00:48 sent off for two bookings and two minutes later young Nathan Moriah Welsh putting in
00:52 a pretty rash lunge on Lundstrom. It was a red card because of the speed of the tackle.
00:59 That left Hebs with nine men and after that an impossible task to come back. Rangers scored
01:04 a second late on through Fabio Silva. They'll be delighted to get through here at Eastro
01:09 given their efforts in Portugal earlier in the week when they drew 2-2 to Benfica. They
01:14 did look tired to be honest and they also suffered injuries. Both Dujan Sterling and
01:19 Ross McCausland went off so they'll come on squat to diminish further ahead of the second
01:23 leg against Benfica on Thursday. But for now they're both in the hat for the draw. They
01:29 join Aberdeen and tomorrow night when the draw is made we'll know whether Hearts or
01:33 Morton will be there with them. But as it stands we have three of the four teams in
01:38 the Scottish Cup semi-finals after a pulsating day of action. Here at Eastro they finished
01:42 Hebs 0, Rangers 2.
