01:14 If we go on a walk, she often decides

01:19 And so my dad goes and picks her up

01:23 and then carries her for the rest of the walk.

01:27 But I think he really likes it, actually.

01:30 She's a little bit tired, I think.

01:31 It gives him the opportunity to carry her,

01:34 which he likes to do.

01:36 He likes to be her man's servant.

01:40 I'm looking for a little girl.

01:41 He lets her sleep on his bed.

01:43 And he's never done that with any dog we've ever had.

01:46 There she is.

01:47 And whenever we go out for dinner,

01:49 dad has to share what he has with her.

01:52 Baby, let me get around here where you can get out.

01:57 My dad got a diagnosis of mild Alzheimer's.

02:00 And so I think she really helps with that.

02:03 How long has this massage been going on for?

02:05 Oh, it's been years.

02:07 She gives us quite a lot of comfort

02:09 and keeps his brain active and entertained.

02:15 I don't think he would be doing as well as he is today

02:19 They seem sort of made for each other.

02:22 She goes with him everywhere he goes.

02:26 My dad takes her to the hairdresser with him.

02:29 We take her out to restaurants.

02:33 We take her on holiday.

02:34 He's like a kid without his security blanket.

02:40 If she's not there, he doesn't like it.

02:42 Dolly has definitely enhanced my father's life.
