Jeremy Hunt's tax cuts labeled 'cynical' by Lib Dem election rival Paul Follows

Jeremy Hunt’s 2p National Insurance cut has been labeled “cynical” by his Godalming and Ash Lib Dem election rival Paul Follows.
Mr Follows, who is also the leader of Waverley Borough Council and a councillor in Godalming, took to X (formerly Twitter) to respond to Mr Hunt’s latest Spring Budget.
He kicked off by criticising the Chancellor's conduct in parliament, saying: “Certainly the man (Hunt) seems rattled and that’s before we get to the inappropriate jibes across the house to a man who’s been looking after his son and another man about his weight. That was a debate that did not lend dignity to parliament.”
