00:00 Hi, I'm Misty Copeland and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:03 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:06 I'm in the midst of really developing my foundation
00:10 that's super exciting.
00:11 We're going into our second year of this program.
00:13 It's Misty Copeland Foundation.
00:15 It's a free ballet class being offered
00:16 to under-served children in the Bronx and in Harlem.
00:19 It's inspiring as an artist and as a dancer
00:21 to be able to look at young people
00:22 and think, like, wow, at their age
00:24 I could not do what they could do.
00:25 I feel like we just keep getting better and better.
00:27 But I feel like that's what all of this is for.
00:29 That's what life is for, to share your experiences
00:31 and hope that the next generation is
00:33 better and more than you are.
00:36 Then I have my new activewear line
00:37 that I started with Derek Jeter back in September
00:40 called Greatness Win.
00:41 So that's really exciting as an athlete.
00:43 But lots of years of experience of wearing this type of gear
00:48 to be able to really put that out into the world
00:52 is really exciting.
00:55 Travel, eat, cook.
00:57 Be with my family, my son and my husband.
01:01 I'd say food is a big part of what I like to do in my free
01:07 time.
01:07 I do.
01:08 I'm every night in the kitchen.
01:10 I have so many go-tos.
01:12 I love a broiled salmon.
01:14 I make the sauce from scratch.
01:17 Orange juice and scallions and soy sauce and brown sugar
01:22 with a sweet potato mash.
