Man rappels down deep well to rescue python in Thailand

A Thai rescuer rappelled down a well to rescue a trapped python.Footage shows the snake handler hanging on a safety rope tied to a car before being pulled up with the snake in Uttaradit, Thailand, on August 16.The reptile was checked by vets before being released back into the wild.The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
