00:11 and at Kicking Horse and in Verbier already this year.

00:14 This guy has, he took a year off for injury

00:17 and he's come back with just, as you said,

00:19 a fresh mindset and we are live at the Georgia Pro

00:24 with Victor De La Rue.

00:26 He seems unbelievably relaxed to open up the course today,

00:31 making his way along the cornice

00:33 and getting a push from a buddy

00:36 before he finds exactly where he wants to drop

00:39 into the face.

00:41 - Well, I love this.

00:42 This is teamwork and in the riders meeting,

00:44 they said snowboarders can get a bit of a boost at the top.

00:48 So Victor taking advantage of the human bungee cord there.

00:52 And this drone shot gives you such a clear view

00:55 of how steep that is.

00:56 The cornice drops right away to rocks

00:59 and Victor De La Rue looking over the edge of the abyss

01:04 - It is so blind, Derek.

01:06 And he has got to be lining something up here

01:09 because he's taking his time

01:10 and making sure he's positioned exactly

01:13 where he wants to be.

01:14 I can't wait to see where he goes.

01:40 Victor De La Rue now coming into this lower band,

01:42 backside three, another perfect stump.

01:45 Three 360s in and he is now setting up above this exposure.

01:49 Victor De La Rue coming into another big feature.

01:55 and now just mocking out of the bottom of the venue.

01:57 What a beautiful run, finding some air on these wind lips,

02:01 enjoying that unbelievable snow and butter.

02:09 through the powder at the bottom of this face.

02:12 He is fired up.

02:13 What's this gonna do to the mood of the riders at the top?

02:17 Some of them are gonna be so stoked

02:22 - Shaking in their boots after that performance,

02:25 just giving the low fives to the snow,

02:27 touching, you can see how gentle and beautiful that snow is.
