Trump Faces Gag Order in Hush Money Case as Manhattan DA Receives Numerous Threats
  • 2 months ago
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has asked a judge to impose a limited gag order on Donald Trump in the hush money case against him. Prosecutors cited threats against Bragg and his office that surged after Trump targeted him on social media. Over 600 phone calls and emails to the NYPD threat unit in March 2023 alone had to be reviewed. The trial in the case is scheduled to begin on March 25th. Trump's lawyers are opposing these requests and seeking to limit other evidence introductions.
