00:10 but finally back again, new money, if you will.

00:19 - Well, that's the big question, right?

00:20 We had Cody Bellinger on this list

00:22 because we didn't know where he was gonna end up.

00:23 Now these end up on the Cubs, it's less wrong.

00:26 It's still not perfect.

00:28 Last year, 26 homers, 20 steals, hit .307,

00:31 but this was also a guy that in previous two seasons

00:33 struggled mightily with batting average.

00:36 So maybe getting out of LA was a good thing,

00:37 maybe just a new voice in his ear, who knows?

00:40 It was a contract year where he peaked,

00:42 could also be that too.

00:43 That's the concern when it comes to Cody Bellinger,

00:46 is which of these variables do we wanna believe in?

00:49 And when you have players who are inconsistent,

00:51 who have big peaks and valleys over entire seasons,

00:54 that becomes difficult investments.

00:56 Now, Cody Bellinger, that ADP actually has fallen

00:58 a little bit since we even put the show together.

01:00 It was down to 54, I think right now overall.

01:04 And you're looking at some of the guys

01:06 around Cody Bellinger going after.

01:08 Paul Goldschmidt, who I know was a little bit

01:10 of a down year last year,

01:11 but he's a perennial 30, 100, 100 guy.

01:14 Nolan Jones in Colorado, cheaper, more interesting.

01:17 Matt McClain, another player I'd like to have on my roster.

01:20 Alex Bregman, who's again, 20, 25 home runs.

01:24 Maybe he's not gonna give you the stolen bases,

01:26 but he is gonna give you the RBI potential

01:29 and the run scored.

01:30 So there's a lot of hitters, even Royce Lewis,

01:32 who was a really intriguing piece we talked about earlier.

01:35 There's a lot of other hitters right around or after.

01:38 And I think that's where I pivot

01:39 and maybe take a picture of Bellinger's on the board.

01:41 And all those guys are still there

01:42 because first base I can find guys like Kassus,

01:45 guys like Goldschmidt, guys like even Torkelson later.

01:48 I think there's a lot of avenues there.

01:50 And the outfield is a little trickier,

01:52 but Bellinger is one of those pieces to be aware of.
