Boza caught up with Billboard's Jessica Roiz at the 2024 Premio Lo Nuestro.

00:04 Well, thank God and thanks to the fans.

00:06 I have two nominations with a song I have with Sin Betrayal and Reggae.

00:10 We are here between nerves and anxieties.

00:12 Tell me, you just released an EP not long ago. Tell us a little bit about this project.

00:18 Ok, well that was like... how do I explain it? It's like my essence.

00:21 It was really something I needed to do a while ago.

00:23 I was doing a lot of commercial music and obviously when you start with something and go for something else,

00:29 the audience is like "Papi, don't lose your essence" and that was like a gift for Panama.

00:34 Well, thank God it's coming out, obviously from Panama. We put a lot of heart into it and it's going well.

00:39 And what other projects can we expect in the long term for the rest of the year?

00:43 Ok, well, there are a lot of collaborations coming.

00:45 Last year I worked a lot on what I wanted to achieve this year, where I wanted to go, what I wanted to achieve.

00:52 Another EP is coming, you could say, that is part of an album that I'm going to release.

00:56 It's another project apart from what I released. It's coming out in April, God willing.

00:59 This tattoo, "Sad Smiles", I think it's new.

01:02 No, no, no, no. I have it like two years ago.

01:08 You could say that it's like my first album. Obviously it means a lot to me, that album.

01:12 And the phrase too, it means a lot to me.
