Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Assures Action Against Officials Responsible For Farmer’s Death

On February 21, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that his government will help the family of the farmer who died at the Haryana border while protesting. Reportedly, 21-year-old Shubhkaran Singh died at Khanauri point during clashes with the police. Farmers told reporters that he died due to tear gas shelling. The Punjab CM said an investigation would be carried out into and the officer responsible for it would face the strictest legal action.
