Major search continues for missing two-year-old boy who fell into river

A frantic dad desperately tried to rescue his two-year-old son after he plunged into a river, it has emerged - as a major search operation continued for the boy. The toddler fell into the swollen River Soar, near Aylestone, Leics., at around 5pm on Sunday.
