South Coast Marine Park draft management plans released

After almost 6 months of delay, the government has released draft plans for a new marine park on WA’s South Coast. The proposal flags no-fish zones covering about 25% of the waters between Bremer Bay and Eucla with environmental grounds saying it doesn’t go far enough while commercial fishers fear the move will threaten the industry.
