Tesla Board Remains Silent Following Revocation of Elon Musk's $56 Billion Pay Package
  • 2 months ago
Two weeks after a Delaware court revoked Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package from Tesla, the company's board has remained notably quiet on the matter. Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick deemed Elon Musk's record-breaking pay package from Tesla as a result of a board "beholden to Musk" in her January 30th opinion. Prior to the ruling, Musk expressed desire for increased voting control at Tesla to steer it towards AI and robotics, alongside his external efforts with a separate AI company named xAI. Legal experts expect Musk's team to appeal the decision to the Delaware Supreme Court.
