The Super Eagles of Nigeria lost 1-2 to the Elephants of Ivory Coast in the final of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations.

The host dominated the game but Nigeria went ahead before the Elephants came back and scored twice in the second half to clinch their 3rd AFCON title.
