00:03 I want to give one more minute, two more minutes maybe,
00:06 on some of the recent coaching hires.
00:08 One that stands out to you that you think is a great fit.
00:12 I don't know what the fans-- I know the Commander fans wanted
00:16 Ben Johnson.
00:16 It just didn't work out.
00:18 I love the hire of Dan Quinn.
00:20 Got to the Super Bowl with the Falcons.
00:23 He just was given too much responsibility
00:25 to end his career there.
00:26 Made some bad drafts to end it.
00:27 But he's got great energy and passion.
00:30 Players always buy in with him.
00:32 That's a very underrated hire.
00:33 They just don't have a very good roster.
00:35 And Adam Peters is their GM who came from the Niners.
00:37 So I think they'll form a great tandem there.
00:39 I like that hire.
00:41 That probably, to me, was the one
00:43 that not enough people were talking about.
00:45 Of course, it was the last one.
00:46 Look, Ben McDonald-- Mike McDonald, I'm sorry.
00:53 Mike McDonald, the hire of Seattle.
00:54 And he's only 36.
00:57 That is really young.
00:58 He has not hired his offensive coordinator.
01:00 I know that-- I'm told they have interest in Ark Biennium.
01:02 They're talking to a lot of guys.
01:03 We'll see who becomes their offensive coordinator.
01:04 That's really helpful to figure out
01:07 how they're going to get Gino Smith back
01:08 to where he was two years ago when he came out of nowhere.
01:10 That's a fun one.
01:13 And the one here in Vegas, I worked with Antonio Pierce
01:16 at ESPN in 2017, Mike.
01:18 That's crazy.
01:19 In fact, Antonio-- because I remember
01:21 talking about what he was doing--
01:23 before he went to Arizona State with Herm Edwards,
01:26 he had car dealerships.
01:28 This is crazy.
01:29 Seven years later, he's the head coach
01:30 of the National Football League.
01:31 It's quite a turnaround.
01:33 (upbeat music)
