01:35 You know, I'm usually pretty respectful and go about my business

01:38 as just a boxing fight for me and something I've got a job to do

01:42 every time I get in the ring.

01:43 But yeah, he wants to, you know, have a bit of needle

01:47 and throw a bit of disrespectful.

01:49 And yeah, no dramas with me.

01:51 But, you know, don't expect me to fight fair as well, you know.

01:56 There's no complacency, you know, every fight I approach the same

01:58 and I'll go through the same training, the same amount of rounds

02:03 So look, my coaches and my team wouldn't put me in the position

02:06 to be in the ring if I wasn't taking things serious.

02:14 and I'm bringing an event like this down home.

02:17 That's enough motivation for me to prepare at the best of my ability.

02:22 And, you know, it's a bit of pride in myself for my own work.

02:25 You know, I don't want to go in there and not look the part

02:28 and not show the best version of myself.

02:31 So look, I'm not motivated by him,

02:34 but he's just someone that grinds your gears a bit.

02:38 So look, he's just a frustrating dude.

02:41 And yeah, that's all I can say about him.

02:45 Not too long ago, you know, I was pouring beers across the road

02:48 and, you know, just to keep me going in boxing.

02:50 Now I'm headlining a no-limit main event show

02:54 at the entertainment centre.

02:56 So it's something I've definitely thought I could do

02:59 and something I'll back myself to do

03:01 and something I've really, really wanted to do

03:04 since I was a young kid.

03:05 You know, I remember coming back here

03:06 and watching fights when I was growing up

03:09 and we don't get many of them.

03:11 So look, I'm just hoping we can make it as big a turnout

03:14 as we possibly can.

03:15 Everyone gets behind it.

03:16 All the local communities get behind it

03:18 and, you know, it can be the first of many great shows

03:20 we've been down to Boolongong.

03:22 So look, I'm very proud to be doing it

03:25 and I'm a proud Boolongong boy

03:27 and yeah, I'm stoked that it's finally happening.

03:31 like I'll get sent a bit of it or whatever,

03:33 but I try not to scroll and click on everything.

03:36 Everyone's got an opinion.

03:37 Everyone's allowed to have one.

03:39 So look, it's something I don't really look into too much.

03:44 You know, there's some things, you know,

03:46 you hear people saying you do feed off it a bit

03:48 and you do want to prove a few people wrong,

03:50 but I try not to get my head too caught up

03:52 in that sort of stuff, you know,

03:54 'cause, you know, you read too many good things,

03:55 you get full of yourself

03:56 and you read too many bad things and you're no good.

03:58 So look, yeah, I try not to pay attention to it

04:03 and I just try and listen to the people

04:04 that are close around me, my family and my team.

04:07 And, you know, I'm dictated off what they say.

04:09 I know who I am and I don't need validation

04:12 off anyone online or on social media

04:14 to tell me who I am and what I'm about.

04:16 It's gonna be cracker, you know, it's gonna be massive.

04:19 So I think we'll get this place rocking,

04:22 the mad bunch, you know, we're local now.

04:23 So you see what we're like when we're traveling,

04:26 now you're gonna see what we're like at home.

04:28 So look, I'm very excited, very, yeah, it's gonna be wild.
