00:02 Glasgow city, Prague, is a city that I know and love really well.

00:05 Been going there since I was a teenager.

00:07 Got an amazing history, you know, musically, clubbing, all those kind of things.

00:11 I really wanted to go there and I was hoping, you know, we could sell a few tickets.

00:15 We sold out there in 12 hours, was it?

00:17 You know, that sums Glasgow up to me.

00:19 Like, I can't wait to get up there and put a party on for everybody up there.

00:22 What about the music specifically in terms of the playlist?

00:26 I mean, what kind of genres do you dip into?

00:29 And is there a sing-along element to it, I suppose, as well?

00:33 Yeah, there is. Go on, Vick.

00:35 Yeah, I mean, the music, it sort of, it varies.

00:38 It's one of those, somebody sort of described it as a like a pick and mix,

00:43 like a bag of sweets. Yeah.

00:45 Do you know what I mean?

00:45 So one minute you've got Common People, the next minute you've got Whitney.

00:49 And there's no great sort of like way in which we're going from it to diva pop.

00:53 It's just a, they've created,

00:57 curated, sorry, a really amazing playlist that, you know,

01:01 we have spoken about the fact that maybe we're in different cities.

01:05 We might sort of include songs that we know were really popular there

01:09 back in the day between 75 and 95.

01:11 But the music is important.

01:14 And, you know, you never, it's trying to please everybody.

01:17 That's always, you know, a big challenge.

01:18 But the great thing about Day Fever is like Johnny says, it's not snobby.

01:22 You're all going to know the tunes.

01:23 You'll all be able to, everybody knows Night Fever.

01:26 I mean, we play that obviously because, you know,

01:28 it's a bit of a play on the words of Day Fever, but everybody knows the Bee Gees.

01:33 Everybody knows Whitney.

01:34 Everybody knows, you know, the Stone Roses, whatever it is,

01:39 whatever theme it is we're going on.

01:42 So, yeah, you know, when you step to it, it's one of those, isn't it?

01:45 It doesn't matter where you are.

01:46 You go to the bar when they're playing a tune that you don't want to dance to.

01:49 And then by the time you got back from the bar,

01:50 there's a banging tune on that you want to dance to. So it's fine.

01:54 OK, so Vicky, how familiar, I know Johnny's very familiar with Glasgow,

01:57 but how familiar are you with Glasgow?

02:00 I'm very familiar with Glasgow.

02:02 I mean, I am a McClure, so technically.

02:04 One of our own, Vicky, one of our own.

02:08 Absolutely, very proud as well.

02:11 We have our own tartan, which I own in a scarf,

02:14 which is the most beautiful scarf I own, obviously.

02:17 No, I did a job in Glasgow called The Replacement years ago now,

02:22 but I lived right in the centre of town, right next to Central Station.

02:26 And I loved it.

02:29 It felt weird.

02:31 I don't know what, you know, sort of was the reason behind it,

02:34 but it felt very similar to Nottingham in terms of the people

02:38 and just the welcome that I got, just the realness of it all.

02:42 You know, it feels like, you know, very much a place

02:45 where people look after one another.

02:48 And I think I remember seeing a tagline in the city centre

02:51 that said, "The people make Glasgow."

02:53 And it feels completely true.

02:55 So, yeah, I'm a massive,

02:59 massive lover of the city, I always have been.

03:02 But when I spent a lot of time there, I just, you know,

03:05 I just felt very at home.

03:06 It was great.

03:07 And I'm really looking forward to coming to Glasgow for Day Fever.
