00:00 This area where we are standing now is the place of the old steam locomotive operation in Wrocław, at the Wrocław Główny locomotive factory.

00:09 Here, some years ago, steam locomotives left the factory to replenish the coal and water supply.

00:20 This is an area that, with the effort of the club, at the end of the previous year, was included in the provincial evidence of the monuments.

00:27 It should therefore be in accordance with the procedure in the municipal evidence.

00:31 The entry was made by the Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Conservatory of Monuments.

00:37 We are fighting for this area to be made available to us.

00:42 So this would be the perfect place to create a living museum of the railway.

00:46 Originally, this area belongs to the State Treasury, currently rusted by regional transport.

00:52 And that's why we are trying to create a museum of the railway,

00:58 it must be a living museum, i.e. have the right space,

01:02 and to be able to show these machines, this fleet in motion.

01:05 It's not the same as a vase closed in a cabinet, it's a story that can be touched.

01:10 So, due to both these historical and logistical, transport factors,

01:19 it fulfills these conditions best here.

01:22 That's not all. Our fleet is currently stationed on rented tracks,

01:26 and it is stationed in the open air, so it's difficult,

01:34 it's difficult to carry out their renovation and repair in such conditions.

01:37 They are exposed to atmospheric factors and also acts of vandalism that happen.

01:43 The facility will allow, for example, for further development of the museum

01:47 and to become a separate entity,

01:49 so that it can be properly financed,

01:51 take part in various programs surrounding the monuments.

01:54 And we will be responsible for it ourselves,

01:57 without being dependent on completely different institutions,
