Rooster runs to see his girlfriend every morning — and makes sure she gets to eat and drink before he does

00:33 Loves her so much.

00:35 He would stare at her and watch her eat.

00:45 He'll always make little chirping noises

00:46 and point to the food.

00:51 Even if there's just water in front of them,

00:53 he'll take a sip and then he'll watch her,

00:55 make sure that she's drinking.

01:00 And shrimp we had in the house because he was getting beat up.

01:04 He's just so friendly.

01:06 So other roosters would pick on him.

01:10 Basil had surgery to remove one of her legs.

01:14 She was in the house in a wheelchair.

01:16 They were definitely lonely without each other.

01:20 They'll spend all day, every day together.

01:24 They eat together, they play together,

01:27 they spend time outside together.

01:29 If they were separated, they would not be very happy.

01:37 Right from the start, shrimp was in love.

01:40 He'll just literally stare at her.

01:45 It almost makes me cry because you can just

01:46 see him just looking into her soul.

01:49 I feel like he just loves her so much.

01:55 When she started looking for him,

01:57 you can kind of tell that she was in love with him too.

02:02 Actually, she's aggressive towards everybody

02:05 except us and shrimp.

02:09 She definitely finds comfort in him.

02:12 Their dinner date, it was adorable.

02:17 They just shared a bunch of berries

02:19 and basil dug into them first, of course.

02:22 It was just a special little moment for them.
