00:00 Could you tell me please what the first pub you ever went to in Sheffield was and what you remember of it?
00:04 I think it was the Hallandshire Hotel, it's on West Street. I don't even know if it's still there.
00:11 But I went there when I came to look at the University for my Dad and I remember the stained glass windows
00:16 and it being really really friendly and the food was lovely.
00:19 And it's one of the reasons why I picked Sheffield because it was such a friendly place.
00:23 Could you tell me what the first pub you ever went to in Sheffield was and what you remember of it?
00:27 Yeah, so it was the Frog and Parrot, a classic pub, quiz night, music
00:36 and I remember getting a really good pint for a really good price.
00:41 Can you remember what the first pub was that you went to in Sheffield and what your memories of it?
00:46 It was the Blyth Stoke pub on Gleadless Valley, opposite where I lived on the Gleadless Valley flat,
00:51 a colour place, where I went for my first drink before I went downtown drinking properly.
00:57 Was it a good pub?
00:58 Yeah, a state pub. It's not to everyone's taste but it was a good pub.
01:03 Could you tell me what the first pub in Sheffield you went to and what your memories of it were?
01:07 The first pub would have been my local pub which would have been the Firth Park Hotel
01:12 and the first pub I went to in town would probably have been the Claymore.
01:16 What do you remember of them?
01:18 The Firth Park Hotel were a very working man's pub and the Claymore obviously with excitement
01:27 because it was the first time I'd started in Uptown.
01:30 Could you tell me what the first pub you ever went to in Sheffield was and what you remember of it?
01:35 It's actually right there, Weatherstones. That's the first one I went to.
01:40 What I remember about it is it's a nice environment, it's not squashed like normal pubs,
01:47 it's quite big, known and the prices, I don't know man, the cost of living is not good for anyone
01:55 but it's alright to say the least.
01:58 Could you tell me what the first pub you went to in Sheffield was and what your memories of it are?
02:03 The first pub is probably the Nags Head at Bradfield.
02:12 Lovely because it's a real old-fashioned pub which you don't really get today
02:19 and since I started going they started doing food which is lovely.
02:24 They do a great steak pie so yeah I'd recommend it.
