Ling Chao is a boy of remarkable intelligence, touching sensitivity and marked independence. As for Xiao Tu, she's a carefree and adorable young girl, although she doesn't have the same intellectual level as Ling Chao. They've known each other since childhood, and enjoy a complex love-hate relationship as childhood friends.
Over time, however, Ling Chao realizes that he can't do anything without Xiao Tu. He realizes that he has fallen in love with her, but keeps his feelings hidden, never daring to admit them.
