यह बांसुरी की धुन उत्तर भारत के तीन राज्यों में अधिकतर बजाई जाती है जम्मू ,हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड । हिमालय पर्वत के साथ जुड़े हुए यह तीनों राज्यों अपनी पारंपरिक लोक संस्कृति को संयोजक हुए हैं इस बांसुरी धुन को यहां की विवाह शादियों में पारंपरिक रूप से बजाया तथा सुना जाता है। इस धुन को बजाते समय लोग वाद्य यंत्रों का भी प्रयोग किया जाता है। जिसकी ध्वनि अपने आप में अलौकिक हो जाती है।।
