Intel Beats EPS Expectations but Misses on Revenue in Q4 Earnings Report

Intel reported earnings for the fourth quarter that beat analyst expectations on earnings per share but missed on revenue. For the first quarter of 2024, Intel issued an outlook that was below analyst forecasts, expecting EPS of 13 cents on revenue between $12.2 and 13.2 billion, versus estimates of 33 cents EPS and $14.15 billion revenue. Intel's Client Computing division, which includes PC chips, grew revenue by 33% while its Data Center unit declined by 10% due to customers prioritizing AI workloads.
