Versailles Palace gardens blanketed in snow

In winter, Paris and its nearby areas experience chilly weather. At the Palace of Versailles, visitors can enjoy the magical view of the grand royal residence adorned with golden statues covered in a layer of white snow. Initially a hunting lodge for King Louis XIII, it was later expanded by his son, Louis XIV, also known as the ‘Sun King.’
