00:00 Producer GMG Productions announces Filipino-Australian theatre actress Abigail Adriano will be headlining
00:07 the upcoming Miss Saigon musical in Manila.
00:10 The 19-year-old star expresses her excitement by sharing photos of herself dressed as Kim.
00:15 Abigail began her performance training at 6 years old.
00:19 Aside from theatre, she also appeared in the Netflix and ABC television series The Unlisted
00:24 and competed in The Voice Kids Australia.
00:27 Filipino Broadway diva Lea Salonga, who first played Kim in the musical's 1989 iteration,
00:32 reminds Abigail to be fully aware of what is required of portraying her role and to
00:37 enjoy the process of creating her character.
00:39 GMG Productions also announces Sean Miley Moore will play the engineer, Nigel Huckel
00:45 will play Chris, and Kiara Daria will play Gigi.
00:49 Filipino audiences can watch the latest production of Miss Saigon starting March 23, 2024 at
00:54 the Theatre at Solaire.
00:55 will run until May 5.
