Doorbell camera captures good samaritan returning wallet lost on train

A Delaware County man is on a mission to find a Good Samaritan seen on Ring doorbell camera who went way out of the way in a genuine act of kindness.

00:15 It all started here at the Ardmore train station on New Year's Eve a Radnor township man and his girlfriend

00:23 Were taking the train into the city to celebrate not realizing that he left his wallet on the train

00:30 Until he looked at his ring camera footage the next day

00:33 It's 815 at night on New Year's Eve and Greg Basil's ring camera capturing a stranger

00:40 Ringing the doorbell of his Wayne home. I'm like, oh, it's a gentleman at my door and I listened to it

00:46 I found your wallet. I'm returning it

00:51 Found it on my train Basil had no idea

00:53 He did not have his wallet until after he got off the train in Philadelphia and was checking into his hotel

00:59 He thought he'd left it at home until seeing this incredibly thoughtful person at his doorstep

01:36 He presumes the man is a scepter worker and says who knows where his car was parked that night

01:41 Before he then drives to Basil's house. I was taken back so much

01:47 It was just I was so surprised. It's just so kind on so many levels

01:56 Because something like this just makes you feel so good

01:59 Basil says he hopes this story inspires others to do good deeds
