How the Gladiators original star got his daughter Fury ready for the reboot

00:00 Now, your dad is a massive reason why you are a gladiator today.

00:04 Can you tell us about that?

00:05 Yeah, so my dad was a contender on the previous gladiators.

00:10 So I was like seven years old.

00:12 I remember it like it was yesterday.

00:14 I was sat in the crowd watching him compete.

00:17 And then from there, my dad like made gladiators

00:21 in our household, basically.

00:23 Like he made our garage into a climbing wall.

00:27 He set up rings in the garage as well.

00:28 So I was just swinging around on the rings like a little monkey,

00:31 really.

00:32 But yeah, it's like gladiators have always been in our family.

00:35 So to now be Fury, and now my dad's my biggest support,

00:39 so it's pretty cool.
