00:13 Dr. Cherish Brillon for the second semester of school year 2023-2024 under the BA Broadcast

00:20 Media Arts and Studies degree program.

00:22 In an interview with PhilStarLife, Brillon says the class will also explore the intersections

00:27 of media with class, politics, gender, and race.

00:30 The course will also explore fandom politics and activism in a Filipino context.

00:35 Brillon's course is neither the first nor last class offered that studies Taylor Swift,

00:40 but it is the first class to be held in a Philippine university.
