NSPCC Helpline_ Better Safe

Nobody wants to think child sexual abuse could happen in their community. But an estimated 1 in 20 children have experienced sexual abuse. And child sexual abuse is under reported by adults. It's time for that to change. It's up to all of us to keep children safe from sexual abuse. If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, including about sexual abuse, contact the NSPCC Helpline. You can call them from Monday to Friday, 8am–10pm, or 9am–6pm at the weekend. Or contact them online any time. It's never too soon to speak out when a child needs help. So don’t tell yourself it can wait. If you're ever worried about a child, trust your instincts. If it’s on your mind, it’s worth sharing. And what you share could make a life-changing difference to a child.
