India-Maldives Row: MakeMyTrip Claims 3,400% Rise In Searches For Lakshadweep Since PM Modi’s Visit

On January 8, online travel company MakeMyTrip announced the launch of a 'Beaches of India' campaign. The company launched the campaign after seeing more than a 3,400 per cent jump in searches related to Lakshadweep. Recently, PM Narendra Modi visited the island. The travel company said on X, “We have observed a 3,400 per cent increase in on-platform searches for Lakshadweep ever since the Honorable PM’s visit.” Watch the video to know more.
