00:06 People have no clue what this show's gonna be, really.

00:08 They have an idea because "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" was a film.

00:12 But this tone is a lot different.

00:17 Well, I think this is exactly like

00:19 the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" movie,

00:20 and we are exactly like Angelina and Brad,

00:23 but if we were to talk about the differences in this,

00:26 we are carrying out missions together

00:28 but having to pose as a married couple.

00:30 So it becomes a real relationship

00:33 set against the backdrop of the spy genre.

00:36 You break the legs, and I'll break the arms.

00:38 Oh!

00:39 We're gonna have our gunfights

00:41 and shoot 'em ups and explosions.

00:43 Of course that's gonna happen.

00:44 But we really wanted to tone it down to, like, a 2,

00:47 so when you did something that was a 10, it felt like 100.

00:52 Hero said there's C students in an AP class.

00:55 They're really not supposed to be here.

00:57 You don't know how to ski?

00:59 It was really important to us that the show felt global

01:02 and grounded but very bizarre, surreal comedy.

01:05 One of our directors made this joke

01:07 that we've collected the character-actor version

01:10 of "The Avengers."

01:12 They just bring something raw and real to the show.

01:15 It's just a job, not life and death.
