Eli Lilly has launched a new website called LillyDirect to help patients get prescriptions for weight loss drugs. Through the website, patients can access telehealth consultations to determine if they are eligible for a prescription and use Lilly's home service, if prescribed. Demand for similar drugs like Wegovy and Ozempic has far outstripped supply, in addition to a shortage of primary care physicians.
