Taiwan's Tsai Ing-wen Rings in New Year for the Last Time as President

Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen has hosted her last New Year's Day flag raising ceremony as head of state. She was accompanied by incumbent vice president Lai Ching-te, who is running to become Tsai's successor against opposition candidates Hou Yu-ih and Ko Wen-je in the presidential election Jan. 13.
