Smooth sailing was not in Daniel Van Dyck's fate on December 6, 2023, and turbulent proof of it is highlighted in this video.
The intriguing clip features the back of the boat, which Daniel was on, in a wrecked state due to being swamped with water, courtesy of 30m waves.
"I was on an Atlas World Voyager cruise coming back from Antarctica across the Drake Passage," the filmer told WooGlobe. "We encountered rough seas and this was the back of the boat."
He couldn't have predicted that the most adventurous part of his journey wouldn't be exploring the frozen continent.
