The first coin of 2024 has been minted in Canberra. But what's the dollar worth if it was sold to a collector?

00:16 And so it's quite significant.

00:18 The first coin, if someone were to sell, would probably fetch anywhere between $600 to $1000,

00:24 possibly even more depending on the type of sale or auction on the day.

00:28 Often, coin number one, the value does drop quite significantly.

00:32 Number two might be worth $400 to $500. Number three might be worth $300 to $400.

00:38 But then after you get beyond $10, they would all be worth about $150 across the board.

00:43 So numbers 11 through to 100 would have a value of about $150 each.

00:54 So that would be in that $150 range, I would say.
