02:32 The previous-- long ago, the administration then

02:42 promised some people here in Uyghurstan iron sheets.

02:50 And decades passed, and the government

02:58 left without delivering iron sheets to those people.

03:03 So there has always been a saying,

03:05 for anything that delays for too long and not delivered,

03:10 they always say it is like the iron sheets that

03:16 were promised by that administration to the people

03:20 and who never got them.

03:24 So now this airport is not going to be like the iron sheets.

03:31 We are as determined as you are to see this airport completed

03:42 and operational.

03:44 [APPLAUSE]

03:48 The Wudersera International Airport

03:50 is an important part of Rwanda's strategy

03:55 for socioeconomic transformation.

03:59 It is key to our ambitions to grow tourism and trade

04:05 and develop our aviation, finance, and IT sectors.

04:13 We also see this facility as an essential component

04:19 in strengthening economic integration of our region

04:26 and boosting intra-Africa trade, investment, and business.

04:34 Rwandans to whom we are ultimately accountable

04:38 are now used to having high expectations,

04:45 and they trust us to deliver on this promise.

04:49 So this is not going to be any different.

04:53 So I wish you all the best in your different endeavors.
